Three White Flint North (3WFN)

Built for the Nuclear Regulatory Industry (NRC). 3WFN is a 322KSF 14 Story Class A Office Structure. Among its features are a 10KSF Data Center, 13KSF Operations Center, 5KSF Cafeteria and 4 Story below grade parking for 625 cars. The building houses 1300 employees.


Afghanistan 8 & 22 Room School House


Two Prototype estimates for the construction of school houses to be built in Afghanistan. This project done for and in coordination with USAID required detailed research and sensitivity to the economic and political climate in the country.

Non-typical means and methods were derived and included in this pricing exercise. Additionally, logistic analysis was included as a healthy part of cost associated with the construction.


Djibouti


Under this ID/IQ (Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity) contract for NAVFAC (Naval Facilities Engineering Command), numerous estimates were developed. Each estimate needed to consider logistics as it related to the locale of Djibouti in East Africa. Projects included:


• 500 KcMil Ductbank Runs

• Aircraft Maintenance Hanger

• Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) Water Production Facility


Jefferson Barracks


Located in St. Louis, MO, this project for the Veterans Administration (VA) consisted of providing a Cost Estimate involving Mass Earthwork development and construction of a 4.2 Ac. parcel at the National Cemetery; for the inclusion of 4,566 Single-Double and Quad-Double Crypts.


Willamette National Cemetery


Located in Portland, OR, this project for the Veterans Administration (VA) consisted of providing a Cost Estimate involving Mass Earthwork development and construction of a 1.9 Ac. parcel at the National Cemetery; for the inclusion of 2,303 Single-Double Crypts.


VA Medical Center Radiology Renovation


An approximate $3M Cost Estimate analyzing the renovation costs of Five (5) distinct areas of development for the veterans Affairs Hospital. Sub-projects consist of the following:


• Area A - MRI/CT Suite

$1,000,000, 4,100 sf renovation modifying MEP, Fire Suppression and the addition

of a Quench Vent System. Excluded equipment costs.


• Area B - Radiation/Oncology

$500,000, 3,000 sf Renovation Modifying MEP, Fire Suppression and Architectural

Finishes.


• Area D - General Radiation/Ultrasound

$950,000, 7,000 sf Renovation Modifying MEP, Fire Suppression and Architectural

Finishes.


• Area D - Nuclear Medicine

$400,000, 2,800 sf Renovation Modifying MEP, Fire Suppression and Architectural

Finishes.


• Area E - Basement Architectural Finishes Renovation

$20,000, 700 sf Renovation Modifying Architectural Finishes.


Niamey Niger Embassy Renovations V/E Study


Working with a team of Engineers, Architects and members of The U.S. State Department; developed Estimated Cost Responses to potential Value Engineering (V/E) Concepts.


The week-long process produced more than 50 Estimates; 35 of which were then presented to the U.S. State Department for consideration in project budget reduction to the renovation.
